4Life Product Labels Library

The current official U.S. label is the controlling source for product ingredients, serving size, directions, allergens, and warnings.

This library should function as a version-controlled index rather than a static catalog.

Label record requirements

Each product record should include:

Priority product labels

The initial library should cover:

Version-control rules

When a label changes:

  1. preserve the prior version internally;
  2. update the current page;
  3. record the verification date;
  4. update linked product guides;
  5. review dosage and safety sections;
  6. check comparison tables;
  7. update schema and metadata when needed.

International labels

Do not merge U.S. and international labels. Country versions may differ in formula, package size, directions, approved wording, and availability.

OCR and transcription policy

Automated transcription should be checked manually against the label image. Numbers, units, allergens, and proprietary blends require special review.

Missing label policy

When an official label cannot be verified, the page should say so and avoid presenting an old or secondary label as current.
