Supplement and Wellness Assessment
This assessment is an educational decision-support tool. It does not diagnose disease, determine treatment, or replace an appropriate healthcare professional.
Its purpose is to help a user organize the information needed to compare products safely.
What the assessment can cover
Goal clarification
Examples include:
- general product education;
- comparing Transfer Factor formulas;
- choosing a capsule, powder, liquid, or chewable;
- avoiding duplicate vitamins and minerals;
- comparing colostrum products;
- understanding labels;
- finding official buying options.
Current supplement inventory
List every vitamin, mineral, protein powder, herbal product, immune formula, probiotic, and fortified drink.
This helps identify duplication.
Allergy and intolerance review
Important categories include:
- milk;
- egg;
- fish;
- shellfish;
- soy;
- wheat;
- mushrooms;
- bee products;
- herbs;
- sweeteners.
Medication and health-context questions
The assessment can identify questions to take to a pharmacist or healthcare professional. It cannot determine whether a supplement is medically appropriate.
Format and routine
Consider swallowing difficulty, taste, number of servings, travel, storage, and cost per day.
What the assessment cannot do
It cannot:
- diagnose a weak immune system;
- recommend treatment;
- interpret symptoms medically;
- replace laboratory testing;
- determine pregnancy safety;
- approve use with medication;
- guarantee benefits;
- select a business opportunity.
Before using the assessment
Have available:
- current medication list;
- current supplement list;
- allergy list;
- product labels;
- health-professional instructions;
- budget and preferred format.
Assessment output
A responsible output should provide:
- product categories to compare;
- exclusion criteria;
- duplicate-ingredient warnings;
- label questions;
- evidence questions;
- official product links;
- questions for a professional.
Emergency and medical limits
Urgent symptoms, severe allergic reactions, persistent fever, breathing difficulty, or serious illness require appropriate medical care—not a supplement assessment.
